ICE10/11/2020
For this tune I used the ICE Delay of my Strymon Timeline directly into my Mesa Boogie Stiletto (left channel) and my modified Marshall JMP50 (right channel). For the solo part I also used the Timeline, but then set at Digital. I also used both amps and a DI signal on which I used the free Lextac plugin by LePou: https://vst4free.com/plugin/962/
I think it's a wonderful sounding amp sim and it's free! :D

Sometimes I like to play some jazzy tunes and my Mesa Boogie Stiletto and Stratocaster give me the right vibes.
Don't Fade Away8/11/2020
I love this song and it's such a pleasure to jam along...
I also think it's a nice way to demonstrate the sound of my Mesa Boogie Stiletto Deuce I and my 1995 Standard Fender Stratocaster USA. The Stiletto was set at channel 2, Tite Gain mode, but it also sounds very nicely on the first channel, crunch mode. I left some riffs and licks to be played by Mr. Vandenberg. ;) Third Album5/9/2020
My third album is already in the works, while the second album isn't even finished yet.
That's because these songs are finished earlier, but add a new chapter. Work in progress ... Road Home29/8/2020
Do you know that feeling after a hard day's work and when you get in the car or train on your way home and feel like an uncomplicated piece of rock music?
This song was inspired by that thought, so ignore your smartphone warning and turn the volume up to 11. Rock on! \m/ Drums - Erik Schenkel Keyboard - Axel Zwinselman Guitars/Bass Guitar - Henri Huisjes Special thanks: BokRock Studio Deventer (NL) You can support me by downloading the song(s) or album(s), or by becoming a patron: https://www.patreon.com/HenriH Tales remix30/5/2020
The only song on my album Landsphere that didn't have acoustic drums was "Tales", but recently I mixed the drum part that Eddy Hendricks recorded a few years ago, and I also recorded a new bass part.
I think this song has come alive even more now. You can listen for free on Bandcamp, but also download it for just $1. La Villa Strangiato12/5/2020
Many of you already know that RUSH is my favorite rock band of all times, and when I was inspecting the internet for a midi file of one of their best songs “La Villa Strangiato”, I found a really nice one.
I just had to replace the guitar parts, and that was a real challenge. You’ll notice some corrections I made to the audio and video, and still it isn’t perfect, but I’m sure Alex Lifeson didn’t record it in one take either. ;) Of course it’s always better to listen to the original, but I hope you’ll be having fun watching this video, just as much as I did recording it. Henri Como30/4/2020
The idea for this song originated in the summer holidays of 2015 at Lake Como, where I return regularly since 1977, because it is a magical place.
I really shouldn't advertise it too much, because to this day it’s a quiet place in terms of crowds and tourism. I think it’s part of my love for this place. It is so authentic, and the atmosphere of that place brings me in total peace. I think it can be heard and felt in this song. It took me a long time to find the right people to help me with the drums and Hammond parts, and I am eternally grateful to Erik Schenkel (drums) and Axel Zwinselman (keyboard) for their contribution. In these horrible times I'd like to wish everyone a nice Spring, and maybe my song could help to make you feel a little bit better.
Stay safe, keep distance, wash hands, etc.! Henri Long Blond Animal (cover)4/3/2020
When this song was released in 1980 I was 13, and instantly Golden Earring fan.
The school bag was emblazoned with the logo of the 1st live album, and every magazine was bought for posters and stories from my heroes. George Kooymans in particular was my great example, and I named my son Sjors after him. When Brian was 13 about 7 years ago, he also discovered this song, and like me back then, he sang this song phonetic. We kind of cursed Rinus, Cesar, Barry and George with every take, because what a precision work it must have been to produce this song in 1980, but we also had a lot of fun, and it was a great challenge. We hope you like it too. AuteurHenri Archieven
