No Time12/2/2021
When I came up with the basic idea for this song I was a little frustrated that many of the musicians I had approached said they "didn't have time" to contribute to my music.
Some gave the actual reason that they didn't like the music or liked it enough and were therefore not motivated. I can respect and understand that. Originally I had turned on the drum computer to four-quarter time and played the guitar riff accordingly. It was only later that I found out that it works better with a six-eighth, alternating with a four-quarter time. Also, somewhere halfway through, there is a truncated six-eighth followed by a two-quarter time. Are you still there? ;) A rough version of this song has been on the shelves for about three years, but recently I made what I think is a cool lead part on it, of which I am quite proud. In the end I managed to get Erik Schenkel to play and record a drum part. Erik had made a few attempts, but they were not completely satisfactory. After an hour of rest and listening carefully and air drumming at the same time, Erik managed to record this fantastic drum part. His persistence paid off and now everyone can enjoy it. Thumbs up for Erik! \m/ I have also found Axel Zwinselman willing to record a Hammond track. At first I programmed a midi-Hammond myself, but a real keyboard player gives it more feeling and I think it has become the icing on the cake. Thanks Axel! Also special thanks to BokRock Studio, Deventer (NL).

Nothing Yet26/1/2021
The basis for this song dates back to two and a half years ago and it was not finished yet, hence the title “Nothing Yet”.
Ultimately, this title fits well, because although it is now finished, it has got a bluesy feel. Erik Schenkel plays the drums again and shows his funny side in this video. In addition, he also just plays a nice drum part. We wish you many listening and viewing pleasure! New songs added to album "III"4/1/2021

I guess tone chasing never stops, because this song is inspired by the JCM800 Sim I recently demonstrated in my second Music & Guitar Video.
Originally I used this sim for both rhythm and solo parts, but for the solo parts I eventually switched to my Mesa Boogie Stiletto (Tite Gain setting, right side) and a 5150 sim by Nick Crow (left side). Download the 5150 sim here: https://sites.google.com/site/nickcrowlab/ Once again many thanks to Erik Schenkel and BokRock Studio, Deventer (NL) for providing drums. \m/ Lextac23/12/2020
This song also originated on the acoustic guitar, but owes its title to the plugin that I used for both the rhythm guitar and the solo.
Lextac is a free preamp plugin from Le Pou / Poulin, based on the Bogner Ecstacy, one of my favorite amps. Download it here: https://vst4free.com/plugin/962/ Taken21/12/2020
A lot of my songs are created on the acoustic guitar, while I'm just playing a bit, including this one.
I also used the JCM800 sim for the solos, which I demonstrated in my second Music & Guitar Video. Music & Guitar Vlog #2 "Amp Sims"16/12/2020

The idea for this song dates from two years ago, recorded with the smartphone, and recently I came across it again.
The last few weeks I have developed this idea and Erik Schenkel has played a nice drum part on it. I would love to be able to make a lot more music with this great drummer and nice person. For the guitar nerds: I used my Martin D18 2005 and my standard Fender Stratocaster 1995 and for amplification a JCM800 sim (left) and my Mesa Boogie Stiletto (right). I am, among others, in the process of writing and recording a new vlog, in which I intend to discuss this sim and maybe a few others.
