Another version of Mizar, this time with my own variation on the solo of Barry Doedens.

Like the last few songs I've released, Mizar was created by rediscovering my Telecaster and it proves once again: “Good tools are half the battle!”
The title was coined by a friend of mine after I sent him an mp3.
He had read a book on astronomy and the name “Mizar” had stuck with him.
I thought it fit well.

Between 1:12 and 2:04 you will hear a contribution from the very talented guitarist, songwriter and producer Barry Doedens.
I was working on it a while ago, but it wouldn't go smoothly.
That's why I asked Barry, and a few days later I had a smashing solo in my mailbox!

Usually drum beast Erik Schenkel plays the drums in my music. In this case however I used the built-in Logic Pro Drummer, but in a different way than I did before. They call it evolution...

In any case, I am amazed by the result, because the drums sound very nice in my opinion.
Maybe someday there will be a version with a real drummer, but this is without a doubt one of my best productions so far!

The footage is shot with my DJI Mavic Air 2 and there's a lot to say about that, but I'll do that another time, okay? ;)
