When this song was released in 1980 I was 13, and instantly Golden Earring fan.
The school bag was emblazoned with the logo of the 1st live album, and every magazine was bought for posters and stories from my heroes.
George Kooymans in particular was my great example, and I named my son Sjors after him.
When Brian was 13 about 7 years ago, he also discovered this song, and like me back then, he sang this song phonetic.

We kind of cursed Rinus, Cesar, Barry and George with every take, because what a precision work it must have been to produce this song in 1980, but we also had a lot of fun, and it was a great challenge.
