Safe

What started as an idea on the acoustic guitar, I quickly played it on a 12-string guitar for fun last Tuesday. Hence the actually totally failed shot, but oh well…
The 12-string guitar on its own sounds, apart from the fact that it was recorded with an inferior piezo pick-up, much too thin, so I also recorded a nice phaser guitar.
A nice mix of sounds gives a comfortable feeling.

Wednesday and Thursday I had some fun with the bass guitar and the arrangement, and I also added a lead part, which is often the biggest challenge.

Friday and Saturday the mix and video were fine-tuned and uploaded today. It can go that fast, but those are the exceptions.

A few clichés about the title:
I like to play it safe. That one was easy.
Music can make you feel safe, especially when pieces seem to fall into place.
Making music, on the other hand, is absolutely not safe, it does not bring any money, on the contrary.
Everyone needs a safe place, especially at Christmas, right?

Just grab that bunch of keys and throw it up and down in your hand to the beat of the music.
